Here is a peek at my collection. Better pictures to follow...I am just so excited that I had to share now! :)
The top picture shows all of my Fiesta plates, saucers and bowls as well as two cute juice decanters and two cute canisters. The Fiesta plates are so heavy, that I had to move them from my china cabinet because I feared the shelves would break...
The lower picture shows a Dormeyer mixer (from the 50's) that still works! I bought it an antique store for $10. It was in need of a good cleaning and the cord needed to be replaced. No one in my area repairs small old appliances, but my dad ended up replacing the cord himself. This is one of my favorite vintage finds!
Thanks for reading. :)
I've just read through your posts and *love* the idea that you're collecting today for your future home. As you probably know, there's plenty or vintage support/enabling out in the bloggy world - welcome! :-)
ReplyDelete...plenty of support... :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW - I'm having major mixer envy!
I LOVE Fiesta too and collect it and Pyrex and glassware and anything else that catches my eye! I'm glad I found your blog-we have a lot in common!!
ReplyDeleteBargain Hunting Treasure Seeker: Oh how I would love to get into your antique booth for 10 minutes! It looks amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteInto Vintage: Thank you! I feel right at home already in the bloggy world!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your fiesta collection is absolutely beautiful. I have red fiesta, but it is new, not vintage. As you saw on my blog, I <3 pyrex too. The more colorful, the better. Some people don't get it - glad to meet others who do! ~ Karen
