weekend shopping...

Hi! I had to work early Saturday morning, but I had time to go to a few yard sales on the way...

I have found a few of these plates recently and really love the vintage gold designs. All of theses large plates were $1 each (except one was $0.50) and the dessert plate was $0.25.
I FOUND THIS VINTAGE FIESTA YELLOW CASSEROLE DISH FOR $3 at a yard sale!!!!! There is a small chip on the inside of the bowl, but it is not noticeable when the lid is on. I couldn't pass it up for $3!
I bought this glass for $1 at a church basement yard sale....
....and I bought this sandwich glass trivet for $2.
This cute hand embroidered dish towel was $0.25 at the church basement sale and I bought a small stack of white linens for $1. Thanks for looking!!!! :)

best Pyrex find yet...

I found an excellent buy this week on a unique piece of Pyrex......
I found the lid in an antique booth for $3, then found the bottom in a different booth for $6.

I hope everyone is finding some great things! I love shopping this time of year when yard sale season and thrift stores are in full swing from all of the Spring cleaning. I found a lot of neat things this morning....will be posting pictures tomorrow! :) Thanks for looking.

FieSta!

Here is my find for the day!!! I went to a thrift store in town and they were having a 50% off sale. Most of the items I had seen before, but these Fiesta mugs were hiding. They are newer mugs but are still pretty and cleaned up nicely (they were filthy!). They ended up costing 25 cents each...so I walked out of the thrift store spending $0.81. :) Very exciting for me....

Stangl Pottery

I was antique shopping yesterday and thought I saw a box full of Fiesta out of the corner of my eye. There was a box full of dishes underneath an old table...almost completely hidden from view. I got a closer look and read the bottom of one of the cups: it said Stangl pottery. I have seen a few pieces before and always thought that the colors were so pretty (and very similar to the vintage Fiesta colors). I bought this set of pottery for $25. They washed up really pretty!

newest vintage finds!

I love how vintage items can be found in bright, beautiful colors. They are especially nice for Spring. My mom found this lovely kitchen towel and these vintage Fiesta shakers. I found the Fiesta plates for a really good buy at a local flea market. I love how they all look together.
I took a trip to California last week to see my boyfriend and he let me introduce him to vintage shopping. :) I had a blast. I bought this unique potholder for $4 and the vintage Fiesta bowl for $9. My mom was nice enough to pick up this cool ice cream scoop for me!
I bought this Pyrex bowl at a veteran's thrift store in California for $3.95. I wanted to make sure that I returned home with something neat! I do not particularly love this pattern, but I do love the color!
My boyfriend bought this vintage restaurant mug for me and my mom found this cute creamer in an antique store for $1. They look nice together I think.
This is something else that my boyfriend bought for me. We found it at El Corral Pottery in Carlsbad. We were driving by and I saw all of the beautiful Fiesta lining the glass windows. I really, really love that store and the owner was so nice.
I hope everyone is having a great week! Thanks for looking!
